Introductions are a challenge; however, I'm going to attempt in my "own words" an introduction to us. Normally Sam is the prankster & I'm often the gullible recipient of his pranks. When you meet Sam make sure you ask him what the hangy thing is in the back of your throat! We are both the seventh child in our families. Sam is from upstate New York and I'm from Western Kentucky. In October 2010 we celebrated our 26th Year of Marriage and haven't harmed each other yet.....(as Sam would say but he still refers to me as "his bride" & I love it that he still feels that way). Sam spent nearly 29 years in the Marine Corps and was stationed at Camp LeJeune from 2001 to 2004 which is how we came about being in the Jacksonville NC area.
When Sam retired in 2006 our youngest of three sons was in his senior year at Jacksonville High School and in order to not upset his last year we decided to retire here. In April 2004, I had started my real estate career at CHOICE Realty. Sam wasn't sure what he wanted to do after retiring but wanted to work with me. I encouraged him to get his real estate license and join me as a team at CHOICE Realty. It wasn't all roses at first!! After five years of working together..."WE are figuring it out & loving it".
